Jeffrey
Good Evening Parents!!!
We are just wrapping up another fun-filled day here at Camp
Buen Dia! It was a beautiful day! I hope your summer season is
off to a great start! I would like to
introduce myself. My name is Jeffrey and
I am an assistant teacher at Santa Maria Del Pilar and I work in Infantil and
Primary. I have just completed my first
year at SMP and consider myself blessed to work with such amazing people and be
surrounded by the greatest kids in Madrid everyday. I am already looking forward to returning to
SMP in September. I am from a beautiful
city just north of Detroit, Michigan called Rochester Hills. I have been living in Spain for the last 7
years.
This is my first summer camp at Buen Dia, but my second time
here. I was here for a week this past
May for Green Week with the fifth graders and truly enjoyed my experience. Although I am still learning the ropes here
at summer camp, it has so far been a memorable experience and an enjoyable
time. The facilities here are perfect
for summer camp and we all especially love the daily trips to the pool.
My class spent the day going over the differences of go, do,
and play, followed by an a review of sports activities with multiple speaking
exercises throughout the morning that included conversation exchange, partner
listening dictation, and a board game.
We wrapped up our day doing some art related to sport activities. It definitely was a busy talkative day!
As we are just wrapping up day five, I am enthusiastic about
meeting you all on Sunday. I hope you
are all staying cool and wish you all the very best summer!
