Hello all !

Some of you know me already from previous summers, but for those of you who don't know me... I'm Melissa! And I'm pleased to say this is my third year being a part of the grand Buendia family !! 

Like many of the students here now, I arrived just a couple of days ago very excited for camp. So far it hasn't disappointed at all. It's been wonderful to reunite with students that were in Buendia last summer as well as the monitors and other teachers, and of course getting to know all the new students is amazing.

As of yesterday, we've diven well into the camp routine: every day is filled with new experiences, fun English learning methods and games. Speaking of which, we've already begun preparing our acclaimed and universally recognized theatre plays!! I won't say much about them as we're still in the drafting process and I don't want to give anything away...

Today everybody - campers, monitors and teachers - participated in the largest game of Oca in history. The camp grounds were the actual boardgame and the campers had to look for and find the numbers and challenges all over Buendia. They all did a phenomenal job!
