Dave

Hi everyone,

My name´s  Dave, I´m from the U.S.A., and this is my first year teaching at Buendia. This isn´t the first summer camp I´ve taught at, but it most certainly has been the best. I feel priviledged and honored to have worked with the amazing campers and staff which make this camp so special.

This fine Saturday began with an optional morning mass just before a hearty breakfast followed by the usual morning classes. We worked hard on important grammar and vocabulary, played games to reinforce their retention, and stimulated listening comprehension through an hour of film in original version. The final class of the day was dedicated to rehearsing and preparing the short plays we´re all excited to see on the second to last day of camp!!

We are quickly approaching the end of our time here at Buendia and it´s hard to believe it will all be over in just 4 short days. It has been an incredible and rewarding experience getting to know the campers and watch them flourish socially and linguistically.
