Hi! I'm Natasha from the UK, this is my first camp with Buendia and I'm having such a fantastic time! It's all go go go!

The kids are fully rested after the camping trip and arrived bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the classes this morning. After going over some grammar in my class, we were able to play lots of interactive speaking games and put into practice what we'd studied, all finished off with a catchy song and some lively conversation - thanks to their fluency and confidence with English.

After classes, the children were keen to jump into the pool and cool off, and they came back refreshed but hungry and ready for the big lunch that was waiting for them.

Following on from talleres, the theatre groups came together to practise their plays. Written, created and directed by the kids themselves I have been so impressed by their drive and creativity throughout this process and I'm looking forward to seeing the fruits of their success next Tuesday. The range of imaginative props and funny outfits will undoubtedly make for a very entertaining show!

One thing I really love in particular is when the children get their letters. They wait near the dining room, as Don Vicente stands up on the wall and reads out the names and they excitedly catch their envelopes and rush off to a quiet corner. A moment of reflection before the next big adventure.

I nearly forgot! Yesterday it was the teachers turn to be in charge of the evening games, you probably saw from the photos how much fun we had; it was a treasure hunt involving riddles, impressions and impressive costumes made from things around camp and a little bit of imagination.

All in all, it was another exciting, fun-packed day at Buendia!
