Today was another day packed full of English classes with
many groups working on various projects.
The after lunch workshop today involved making robots/creatures out of
bottle caps and we concluded with water polo in the pool and various other sports
around the camp.
My class spent the day finishing up being fashion designers
by making a collage of different clothes out of magazine clippings and
reinventing what people should be wearing or might be wearing in the near
future. We also completed our adjective project
where students used new and old adjective words to describe their loved
ones. Tomorrow we will start with modes
of transportation and have students in small groups use cardboard to create a
futuristic mode of transportation. It is
always exciting to see how creative each of them become during our class
projects. It looks like the heat will be returning for a few days over the coming weekend. However, that will not stop the students from competing in the Camp Buen Dia Summer Olympic Games this Saturday! Stay cool and I wish you and your families a very relaxing summer holiday season!
